I am Certified Equine Massage
Therapist with over 350 hours of
course study that included hands
on massage therapy experience,
anatomy and movement, hoof care,
saddle fitting with a Western
saddle maker and English saddle
fitter, as well as handling and
safety of horses. I received my
certification from Prairie Winds
Equine Massage Therapy College
in August 2006 in Colorado,
graduating in the top ten of my
class.
I have always had a passion for
animals, whether they are
hamsters or beef cattle. Having
worked for veterinary hospitals
over the years, it has taught me
to look for the subtleties in
the wellbeing of animals in
addition to the importance that
western medicine holds. After
completing my equine massage
schooling, I started looking at
the health and interests of
animals in a different light,
especially horses.
Many alternative therapies are over looked for
various reasons. Equine massage has been shown to
improve the attitude of the horse, relieve tension and
stress and help to heal wounds faster. Any and all
breeds of horses, as well as disciplines will gain from
the good of massage. I feel equine massage has helped me
to aid my own horses as well as my clients (horse and
human)!

On the more personal side of me, I am an avid animal
lover. I have two horses of my own that I use for trail
riding and competitive, amateur team penning. We won
first place last year, thanks to a wonderful team
penning partner, and a fantastic horse! I also raise a
very small flock of Suffolk sheep to sell to 4-H and FFA
kids. I've recently acquired a bottle calf that will be
the start of my very own breeding program. So no matter
what I'm doing, I'm surrounded by animals and couldn't
ask for anything more!!

forgiving."
